Do I have to be a member of the National Association of Rural Health Clinics to register?
No, but you will receive a discounted rate for being a NARHC member!
Is there an option to attend a digital conference?
At this time NARHC Institutes are offered as an in-person option only.
Do I need to download an event app to attend this conference?
It is recommended you download the event app prior to the start of the conference. An email will be
sent once the app is available for this event. The app content will be updated until the event, so
check back frequently to see what’s new!
Where will the conference be held?
The 2024 Fall Institute will be held October 7th-9th at the Amway Grand Plaza and DeVos Place,
located at 187 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
When should I book my hotel room?
NOW! Why wait? Our room block can fill quickly and you don’t want to miss out on the NARHC
discount! Room block closes September 6th. Unsure if you are attending? That’s ok! Book your room
and cancel it without penalty up to 24 hours prior to arrival.
Will I be able to download the presentations and handouts in advance of the conference?
Yes. Each session will have the presentation and any handouts available uploaded prior to the
conference in a PDF format.
What is the dress code?
While we do not have a required dress code, most attendees come in business casual attire.
Should I bring anything specific to attend?
Some people choose to bring their laptops with them to be able to take notes on the presentations
as the app is available both on your computer and mobile devices. If you’ve got fast thumbs, then
maybe only your phone will do. Don’t forget your sweater or jacket. Session rooms tend to run cold!
What food will be provided at the conference?
We will provide a light continental offering at the start of each morning, snacks in the afternoons,
and lunch on the first day.
Can I bring my family into the conference space?
No, only registered attendees may be in the conference space.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Please see the cancellation policy on the home page for information on canceling your event
registration. Hotel reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the expected arrival without
penalty.
